Genoveva Trujillo, 89, of Colorado Springs died Tuesday in a Colorado Springs nursing home.

Mrs. Trujillo was born Dec. 21, 1895, in Del Norte and had lived in La Garita, Laramie, and Fort Collins before moving to Colorado Springs in 1977.

She married in 1923 in Del Norte to Abelino Trujillo, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; Antonio and Virginia (Lujan) Baca; two children; Rodolfo and Elias Trujillo, five sisters, Elvira Sandoval, Perferia Baca, Isabel Baca, Jaunita Medina, and Elesia Baca, two brothers; Eduardo Baca, and Guiyermo Baca.

Survivors include six sons, Victor and Tony Trujillo of Denver, Susano and Harold Trujillo of Laramie Wy., Sam Trujillo of Gunnison, and Rudy Trujillo of Colorado Springs; two brothers, Toby Baca of Del Norte and Demetrio Baca of Livermore, CA; three sisters, Margaret White of Colorado Springs, Mary White of Gunnison, and Victoria Aguilar of Del Norte; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2715 E. Pikes Peak Ave., with the Rev. Francis Colom officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
