Jose Antonio Alonzo (Tony) Trujillo, age 78 was born February 18, 1935 to Abelino and Genoveva (Baca) Trujillo, in the small village of La Garita, Colorado. He died October 4, 2013 in the Veteran's Hospital in Denver.
He married Victoria Atencio and had two children. He was an Army veteran (US Army, TEC4) and will be buried in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Abelino (1894-1966) ad Genoveva (1895-1985) his step mother Altagracia (1900-1922) his loving wife, Vicky (1935-1998) and seven brothers, Victor (1916-2004), Sam (1918-2003), Susano (1928-2004), Harold (1931-2004) and Rudy (1938-2007), two died very young Rodolfo (1926-1927) and Elias (1930-1934), Two step sisters; Margarita (1920-1921) and Cleofes (1921-1922) both who died as infants.
He is survived by his two children (all of Denver) Tomas Trujillo and Jaunita Trujillo and his grandchildren; Tomas, Anthony, Renee, Alicia, numerous great grandchildren, nephews and nieces and friends.
The funeral will be held on Oct. 15, at Trevino Funeral Home.
