His occupation was livestock and farming, and his place of business was on Columbia St. in Chester. Annie Bell Frazer was his wife. He described himself as medium height and of stout build. He had brown hair and blue eyes.

Alexander visited Ireland again in 1920 with his wife Annabelle, Robert his brother, Annie Frazer (age 19) and Robbie (formal name was Roberta) Coln (age 21).
