James A. "Jim" Clark, 94, of Elkins passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, at his home. He was born Aug. 21, 1911, at Patrick, the son of Albert Richard and Martha Elizabeth Reed Clark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Macel VanBrunt Clark, on May 12, 2001, they were married Sept. 29, 1934. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers, and six sisters, and two great-grandsons.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Tuttle Church of Christ. He served on the Elkins School Board, served on the ASC Committee and served as election supervisor for Elkins city and Richland Township for more than 20 years.

He is survived by three sons, Bob H. Clark of the home, Max A. Clark and his wife Letha of Huntsville and Bruce Clark and his wife Vivian of Elkins; two daughters, Virginia Harriman and her husband Gerald of Fayetteville and Charlotte Morris and her husband William J. of Fort Smith; 10 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22 at Tuttle Church of Christ.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.

Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.
