Samuel Thomas Clark, 81, of Norwalk, California, died August 30 in the Studebaker Hospital. He was born in Patrick, Ark. July 8, 1895, the son of Albert and Martha Reed Clark. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie Roberts Clark; one son, James Clark, of Corona, Calif.; three daughters, Myra D. Ridling, of Norwalk, Calif., Betty J. Smith, of Simi Valley, Calif., and Mary L. Lockhart, of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Willard and Jim Clark, of Elkins; and five sisters, Ada Combs, Myrtle King and Minnie Copeland, of Fayetteville, Bertha Cook, of Hulbert, Okla., and Zola Shumate, of Yuba City, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday, September 2, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Norwalk with Bro. Kenneth Cheatem officiating. Interment was in Little Lake Cemetery at Santa Fe Springs, Calif.

Pallbearers were three of his grandsons, Jim, Terry and Kenneth Smith, one nephew, Jerry Combs, and two friends, John Garrett and Nick Virzi.
