Minnie A. Copeland, 89, of Fayetteville, died Dec. 5, 1986 at her home. She was born Dec. 1, 1897, at Patrick, the daughter of Albert and Martha Reed Clark. She was a homemaker and a member of the North Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville.

Survivors include two sons, Garland Copeland of Vidor, Tex., and James Copeland of Springdale; two daughters, Marie Canfield of Escondido, Calif., and Ula Fritz of Fayetteville; one brother, Jim Clark of Elkins; three sisters, Ada Combs and Myrtle King, both of Fayetteville, and Zola Shumate of Yuba City, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

Services were Monday, Dec. 8 at the Mount Olive Community Church with burial in Mount Olive Cemetery with John Gay officiating. Arrangements were by Nelson's Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
