Myrtle Elizabeth King, 93, of Fayetteville died April 12, 1998, at Fayetteville City Hospital. She was born April 5, 1905, near Patrick in Madison County to Albert Richard and Martha Elizabeth Reed Clark. She was a homemaker, quilter and gardener. She was a member of Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dolph King, in 1973.
Survivors include two sons, Harold E. King of Troy, Mich., and Gary L. King of Springdale; two daughters, Melba D. Adams and Frances Jane Bonnell, both of Fayetteville; one brother, James Clark of Elkins; one sister; Zola Mae Shumate of Yuba City, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
