Margaret Doutt married George H. Hake in New Castle. She was the daughter of Joseph T. Doutt and Mary Upperman Doutt.

"A service for Mrs. Margaret Matilda Hake, 72, of Skyview Towers, the former Margaret Doutt, who died at 3:20 pm Sunday at the home of a son in Houston, Tex., will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday at the Caskey-Kildoo Funeral Home, 101 W. Madison Ave. The Rev. George A. Dawson of Madison Avenue Christian Church will officiate.

She was born in Wampum Oct. 15, 1897, to the late Joseph T. and Mary Upperman Doutt. Her husband George H. Hake, died in 1955.

Mrs. Hake was a member of Madison Avenue Christian Church.

Surviving are six sons, Alvie, Paul and Dale, all three of New Castle, Robert of Philadelphia, George with the Navy in Florida, John of Houston; five daughters, Mrs. Ray (Dorothy) Bales, Mrs. Walter (Mildred) Ridenbaugh, Mrs. Russell (Charlotte) Gerhard, Mrs. Fred (Jane) Jenkins, all of New Castle, and Mrs. Robert (June) Kobi of McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey; four brothers, Edward Doutt of Wampum, Arthur Doutt of New Castle, Clarence and Eugene Doutt, both of Moravia; and 50 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and a sister.

The family will recieve friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 pm today and tomorrow. Internment will be in Clinton cemetery, Wampum".
