Charles E. "Eddie Boy" Chandler, age 83 of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009 at his home. He was born July 4, 1926 in Nashville to the late William Walter and Anna Marie Westbrook Chandler.

He was a retired brakeman for Rock Island Railroad, an Army veteran of WWII, and a faithful member of the Center Point Church of Christ. He enjoyed gardening, gospel and bluegrass music, traveling and watching old John Wayne westerns. His biggest enjoyment was his entire family, but words cannot express the love for his wife Jacquelyne Jo Chandler who preceded him in death on August 1, 2009.

He is also preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Rogers Young, and brothers, Larry Walter Chandler and Wayne Eugene Chandler.

He is survived by his daughter Ruth Ann Coger, and four sons, Charles E. Chandler, Jr., Michael David Chandler, Ronald Glen Chandler, and Roger Gene Chandler. One sister, Anna Fay Howard. Nine grandchildren, Rusty, Stacey, William, Jeff, Kim, Shane, Megan, Buddy and Bubba Clay, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
