Mrs. Bennett was born on April 28, 1905 in Kennett and had lived here with her family for thirty years.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Bennett; five daughters, Mrs. Melba Byrn and Mrs. Peggy Shearer of Three Rivers, Mich., Mrs. Barbara Nolan of Dixon, Mo., Mrs. Cindie Bell of this city and Miss Darla Bennett of the home; four sons, Billy Bennett of Houston, Tex., Bobby of Murphysboro, Tenn., Benny of Franklin, Tenn. and Dickie Don Bennett of the home; a brother Ernest Wilbanks of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Eula Young of this city and Mrs. Verla Speaddling of St. Louis; and 15 grandchildren.
