Mrs. J. A. Hunt Called by Death

Mrs. Alice Francis Hunt, 78, passed away early Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dave Myers in this city. She had been in failing health two years, and a week previous to her death she sustained a paralytic stroke.

Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon, Rev. T. B. Talley officiating. Burial was in Green Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Hunt had been a resident of this vicinity about 30 years and had a host of friends. She was born in Alabama, March 12, 1865, and was married Jan. 16, 1894, to J. A. Hunt, who preceded her to the grave about two years. She had been a member of the Methodist church since 15 years of age.

Survivors are: Five daughters, Miss Cora Hunt, Mrs. Josie West and Mrs. Dave Myers, all of Davis; Mrs. Lena Brassfield and Mrs. Fanny Keeling, both of Ada; three sons, Leon, John and Steve Hunt, all of Davis; five step children, Mrs. Alice West, Scullin; Mrs. Intha Rickard, Fletcher; Andrew Hunt, San Antonio, Tex.; Bragg Hunt, Littlefield, Tex., and Mrs. Lizzie Solomon, Elgin, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. T. J. Hunt of Davis.
