Luster Sampson
Luster Sampson, 71, of 336 S. West St., Lebanon, died Monday, Feb. 18, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Lenabelle; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Lee Cox of West Chester and Mrs. Nancy Glover of Lexington, Ky.; three grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. F. S. Ciro of Kansas City.
Sampson was a long-time Lebanon resident and was a horseman and trainer throughout Ohio and Kentucky. He was a member of the Lebanon Elks Lodge 422, the Lebanon Eagles and numerous horseman organizations.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Oswald Funeral Home, Lebanon. Rev. Harold Shimfessel will officiate. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Visiation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today (Wednesday).
