Mrs. Mabel S. Mallon, 73, of 710 North Main St. Greensburg, died Tuesday, Oct 25 1977 in the Westmorland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born May 21,1902 (sic 1904) in Athens County, Ohio, daughter of the late Riley and Bertha Beckler Sampson.
She was a retired employee of Westmoreland County.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Mallon
Surviving are the following brothers and sisters, Ford Sampson of Florida, Luster Sampson of Lebanon, Ohio, Mrs Frank ( Wavelyn ) Ciro of Kansas City, Mo, Mrs Elsie Weaver of Columbus, Ohio

Friends of Mrs Mabel S. Mallon, of Greensburg, who died Tuesday Oct 25, 1977, will be recieved at the Henry S. Coshey Funeral Home, 319 West Pittsburg St., Greensburg 7 to 9 pm Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Robert G. Doyle officiating. Interment will follow on Saturday in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Robert J. Nicholson in charge for the Coshey Funeral Home
