PETERSDORF- Adolph Petersdorf of Route 2, Box 635, Veneta, died May 14, 1972, at the age of 75. He was born February 28, 1897, in Junction City, Oregon to Hermann and Lina Petersdorf.
He was married in Eugene December 20, 1923, to Cecile Swift. He was a career logger, last working for International Paper Company as a cutting crew supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Cecile; one son, Darrell of Junction City; two daughters: Velma Boergadine of Portland, Eldean Temple of Elmira; two sisters: Clara Wolfe of Blachly, Elizabeth Bailey of Monroe; one aunt, Bertha Schwader of Junction City; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 17, 1972 at 2pm at the Junction City Christian Church. Interment will follow at Rest Lawn Memorial Park, Junction City.
