Services for Mrs. Edith Mae Porterfield,82, of Alto, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at O.T. Allen Funeral Home in Alto with Rev. Don Lewis officiating.
Burial will be in the Gann Cemetery in Central, Texas.
Mrs. Porterfield died early Saturday morning May 12, 1990 in a Lufkin, Texas hospital.
She was born October 16, 1907, in Forest, Texas and lived in the Alto area for 20 years. She was a retired garment saleswoman. She was a member of the Forest Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Ouida Ann and Earl Sjolander of Alto, Texas; two sisters, Hazel Sherman of Maydelle, Texas, Maurine Staton of Orlando, Florida; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
