WILMARTH
---Elizabeth Wilmarth, aged 89 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.C. Mason, of Falls City, Nov. 11. She was born Sept. 24, 1816, in Steuben county, N. Y. She came with her parents to Ohio when a child. She was married to Jos. Wilmarth in 1844. Three children blessed this union-William M., who died in the service of his country in 1863; Nelson E., died at home one year later and Mrs. E.C. Mason survives with three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
---Mr. and Mrs. Wilmarth came to Eau Galle in 1867. They celebrated their golden wedding in 1894. Her husband died five years later. Mrs. Wilmarth joined the M. E. Church when 18 years of age and was a faithful member and devoted to her loved ones. She always had a kind word for her neighbors and friends. She will be sadly missed in her home. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Chalfant Sunday, Nov. 12. The remains were laid at rest by the side of her husband in Falls City cemetery.
