OBITUARY
SOUTH WEBER - Ralph Campbell Thorson, 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at McKay Dee Hospital.

He was born September 19, 1927 in Provo, Utah, the son of Joseph and Sarah May Curtis Thorson.

Ralph Married Renee McIntire on May 29, 1954 in Brigham City.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He attended Provo High School where he was co-captain of the football team and was all state.

He served a tour of duty in the navy, later the Army during the Korean War.

Ralph retired from Hill Air force base in 1983 as a Flight Test Supervisor after 33 years of civil service. Ralph was a selfless individual being engaged in many projects and tasks. He was an avid hunter and fishing enthusiast. As a family we loved camping and family trips.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Renee of South Weber; three children, David, Shane (Johanna) and Ann (Steven) Pena, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He loved them all. Also surviving are his siblings: Myrna, Patra, Nona, Joe, Myrt and Gail.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy. Friends and family may call on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to services.

Interment, Washington Heights Memorial Park where Military Honors will be accorded.
