Barbara was one of a set of twin girls born on Dec. 14, 1941, in Glens Falls, N.Y., to Burton and Eva (Granger) Hamblin.
She was a proud to be a member of Battle Hill Chapter No. 262 Order of the Eastern Star.
Bobbie is best remembered for her deep love and fierce devotion to her loved ones. In her early years, she was a hard-working waitress in the Glens Falls and Lake George region. For more than 20 years she was a dedicated employee of Cumberland Farms. She was unpretentious, sincere and funny. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, of 28 years, Allen Joslin; her brother, James Hamblin; her sisters, Virginia Barber, Theora Troumbley, and her twin sister, Rosemary Potter.
Survivors include her two daughters, Rosemary Hamblin of Ellsworth, Maine and Barbara Ann Memmoli and her husband, Victor, of Lakeland, Fla.; her stepson, Tim Joslin and his wife, Tammy, of Riverview, Fla.; one brother, Albert "Buster" Hamblin of Warrensburg; four sisters: Edith Baker of Warrensburg, Leah Chitwood of Shelbourne, Vt., Beatrice Ward of Queensbury, and Darlene Frye of Queensbury; her six grandchildren: Nicole Islas, Dorian, Casey, Gabrielle and Jacob Memmoli, and Zachary Joslin; one great-granddaughter, Rebecca Berry; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
