Mrs. Stella B. Colburn, 72, widow of Albert Colburn, died at her home in Chillicothe, Route 4, Thursday, following a two-year illness.

A lifelong resident of Ross County, she was born July 10, 1873, the daughter of James and Elizabeth Worthen. She was married to Albert Colburn March 16, 1892.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union at Denver.

Surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Gladys Hatmaker, Mrs. Edward Batty, and Mrs. Grace Farmer, all of Chillicothe; Mrs. Pearl Ager, Mrs. Clyde Ott, and Mrs. George Warner, all of Columbus; and Mrs. Ralph Offerle of Miami, Fla.; four sons, Donald, Carl, and Arthur Colburn, all of Chillicothe; and James Colburn of Columbus; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Baxter of Chillicothe; a brother, James Worthen of Springfield; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Service will be conducted by the Rev. C. L. Wright from the Fawcett Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Sunday, with interment being made in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Fawcett's.
