Mrs. Cochran had been ailing for some time, but her condition was not thought to be serious. She was in Milan Friday. She retired as ususal Tuesday night and was lying on a cot near the window. About eleven o'clock she got up for some purpose and fell to the floor, dying almost immediately.
The deceased was the mother of eleven children, all of whom survive her: James E., Hugh, Charley, Chester, Alice and Bertie, Mrs. Maggie Cochran, Mrs. Mattie Franklin, Mrs. Belle Bray, Mrs. Minnie Bailey and Mrs. Addie Whitacre. She is also survived by four stepchildren, R. H. Cochran of Harris, Wm. Cochran, Jr., Mrs. C. A. McCaughey of Milan and Mrs. James Smiley of Rosendale, Kansas.
The deceased was a sister of Elias Shatto and Mrs. Judge Franklin of Reger.
