Lois M. Jones, 78, of Otterbein died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday in Otterbein Care Center. Born Jan. 23, 1914, in Benton County, she graduated from Oxford High School in 1932 and from Indiana Business College in Lafayette.
Most of her life was spent in the Benton County area, except for 30 years she lived in Washington, D.C., where she was a clerk-typist with the Retail Clerks Union Headquarters.
After retiring, she returned to this area.
Miss Jones was a member of Oxford Church of Christ.
Surviving are a sister, Helen Roudebush of Bradenton, Fla., and two brothers, Robert E. Jones and Kenneth Jones, both of Oxford.
