Mrs. Alta Jane (McDade) Jones, 75, of Oxford, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Home Hospital, Lafayette. She had been in failing health eight months.
Mrs. Jones, a life resident of Oxford, graduated from Oxford High School in 1912.
In 1913 she was married to J. Milton Jones who died in 1937.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Lois Jones of Oxford and Mrs. Helen Roudebush of Rt 7, Lafayette; two sons, Kenneth of Fowler and Robert of Oxford, and one brother, Lloyd McDade of Rt. 1, Oxford.
