Chester - Dorothy J. Gibbs, 76, of First Street died today, March 6, 1996, at home. She was born in East Liverpool Dec. 25, 1919, a daughter of the late Otis and Stella Allison. A lifelong resident of the area, she was employed 25 years as an office worker at the National Church Supply Co. She graduated from Chester High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Pirl C. Gibbs, at home; a son, Dr. Bruce Gibbs of East Liverpool; a brother, Robert Allison of Columbus; and a sister, Maxine McCoy of Aliquippa, Pa. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Arner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
