ARCOLA - Dorothy M. Pedigo, 85, of Arcola died at 7:35 p.m. Saturday (April 5, 2003) at the Arcola Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wed. at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust St., Arcola. The Rev. Jess Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Arcola Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wed. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pedigo was born June 23, 1917, in Galton, a daughter of John F. and Gail Bonner Cook. She married Witt Pedigo on April 27, 1948, in Danville. He died July 5, 1978.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Hardesty of Taylors, S.C.; two sisters, Shirley Williams of Champaign and Betty Ross of Royal; one brother, Tom Cook of Bourbon; and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Pedigo was a homemaker and member of Arcola First Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to Arcola First Baptist Church or Arcola Health Care Center.
