Bowman - John Forman Patrick, 73, died Tuesday at an Orangeburg hospital. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Bowman Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Bowman Cemetery, directed by Thompson Funeral Home of Orangeburg. Mr. Patrick was born on Bowman, a son of the late John and Ann Stroman Patrick. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Bowman Baptist Church. Surviving are: six daughters, Mrs. Alex Bars and Mrs.Iva McAlhany, both of Orangeburg, Mrs. James Wilgus of Charleston, Mrs. R. H Spurrier of Charlotte, Mrs. Jimmy Rowes [Rawls] of Atlanta, and Mrs. A. D. Irick of Bowman; three sons, Herbert Patrick of Orangeburg; Robert Patrick of Bowman and Jerry Patrick of Charlotte; a sister, Mrs. O. M. Judy of Orangeburg; 32 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
