J.B. CUNDIFF DIED MONDAY At Age Of 45

J.B. Cundiff, a native of Breathitt County, died Monday, April 5, in Chicago, Illinois, where had resided for five years. He was 45 years of age and had been ill for only a short time. He was a disabled veretan of World War II.

Mr Cundiff was born in this county September 28, 1917, the son of the late William and Minerva Little Cundiff.

He is survived by a daughter Janet Minerva Cundiff, three sisters, Mrs. Eliza Little, Elkatawa; Mrs. Lennie Myrtle McIntosh, Cincinnati; and Mrs. Ernestine Coomer, Middletown; four brothers, Burnis Cundiff, Farmington, Michigan; James Cundiff, Haddix; Virgil Cundiff, and Robert Cundiff both of Chenowee.

Funeral services were conducted today (Thursday) at the free Methodist Church, Elkatawa, by the Rev. Brian Bonney. Burial was in the Little Cemetery at Town Branch under direction of Bob Gabbard's Jackson Funeral Home.
