FLORIEN -- Charles L. Canterbury, 82, died Saturday at his home here after a short illness.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Florien with the Rev. Avon Cavanaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Florien Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Canterbury of Florien; one son, Jack Canterbury of Florien; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Cook of Houston; two brothers, John Canterbury of Tyler, Texas and Frank Canterbury of Longview, Texas; and three grandchildren.
