He had been teaching in Winn parish for three years, but was in Grant parish near Pollock at the time he was taken sick. He was carried from there to Alexandria Sanitarium where he died.
It was much grief for the family but a great consolation for them is that he died praising the Lord in prayers and song.
All that knew him knows that he has served the Lord for several years, and he was faithful even to the end.
