Nina Lois Wyatt Canterbury, 83, of Florien, died Thursday, April 10, following a short illness.

Survivors include one son, Jack Canterbury of Florien; one daughter, Mrs. Harvey Gerald Cook of Houston, Tex.; one brother, G. L. Wyatt of St. Maurice; one sister, Mrs. W. H. Chandler of St. Maurice; and three grandchildren, Brent, Randy, and Walter Cook of Houston, Tex.

Mrs. Canterbury, an active member of the Florien Baptist Church was also a past president of Sabine Association WMU.

Funeral services were held at the Florien Baptist Church on Saturday, April 12, at 2 p.m., with Brothers Avon Cavanaugh, V. K. Fletcher, and Delmar Rogers officiating. Burial followed in Florien Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Mark Swafford, William Wyatt, Randy Cook, James P. McAlpin, Brent Cook, and Walter Cook.
