TOM BLANDFORD, 60, native of this county, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 1964 in Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he had been a patient several months. The son of the late Kent and Lula Noonan Blandford, Mr. Blandford was born and reared in Washington County but for many years prior to his fatal illness had been associated with a newspaper in Chattanooga. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marguerite Blandford; two sisters, Mrs. Julian Kidwell, Springfield, and Sister Anna, Ponce, Puerto Rico, and three brothers, George and Edward Blandford, Louisville; and R.K. Blandford, Escondido, Calif. Funeral and burial took place in Chattanooga Wednesday. Mrs. Kidwell accompanied her brother, George to Chattanooga to attend final rites.
