Walter Sachs, 51, a resident of the town of Eaton, Manitowoc county, died Monday evening from heat prostration. Mr. Sachs had been out in the field haying. About 3 p.m. he became aware that he was weakening under the heat of the sun. He started for home and collapsed on the way. He lost consciousness and died about four hours later.

Mr. Sachs is survived by his aged parents and four sisters.

The funeral services were to be held at Trinity Presbyterian church here this afternoon, Rev. G. A. Kaltenbach officiating. Burial was to take place in New Holstein.
