Mrs. Borchers was born in the town of Eaton, Manitowoc county. She was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Sachs. In 1913 she was married to Henry Borchers. They made their home in Dane County.
She was a member of Lakeview Lutheran Church, Madison, where services were held Monday. Burial was made in the New Holstein Cemetery.
She is survived by a step-son, August Borchers, DeForest and a sister, Miss Irma Sachs, Akron, Ohio, Her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Steffes and Miss Emma Sachs and a brother, Walter preceded her in death.
