Married to Glenn Loren Snyder on April 18, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Survived by sister, Lenore (LaMar) Nagle, and brother, Clark (Caroline) Strong. Also survived by loving husband, Glenn; the Snyder Tribe (children): Penny (Carey Madsen), Shauna (Don) Thomson, Lori (Doug) Jones, Gary (Debbie), Guy (Kory), Larry (Kim), and Launi Milligan. She was also the proud grandmother of 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Mom loved her family and enjoyed camping with them from the ocean to the mountains to the desert. She had a special place in her heart for the cabin and always longed to be there. Her philosophy of life was "A Family That Plays Together Stays Together" and she did her best to make sure we always played together. She loved to go to "Anty" (Antelope Island) and Dad would always take her there when she needed a ride. Sitting by the ocean with a good book was a favorite time for her and dad once they moved to Washington.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon James Strong and Thurza Clark Strong; in-laws Golden LaVar Snyder and Eline Findlay Snyder; and grandson Grant Leon Snyder.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at noon. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue and "N" Street (1100 East 325 North).
