Last rites for Loretta(sic) Sheffield, 6, who died Saturday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Payne at Biardstown, were held Sunday afternoon at the Rock Ford church. Burial was at the Rock Ford cemetery.
The child is survived by her father, William Sheffield of Cuthand; two sisters and two brothers.

Loeta Sheffield died of scarlet fever and was a twin to Alma Juanita Sheffield. Loeta was pronounced Low-ee-tuh to rhyme with Juanita.
