Dr. Charles Bogan then took his two remaining sons, Charles Hanes and States to Delta County where they lived for a number of years between Pecan Gap and Cooper. On July 18, 1901, States married Zada B. Lancaster in Delta Co, Texas. They eventually moved to Lubbock, Texas. The census records for 1930 indicate that they were divorced.
