Estate filing by Dr. Charles Bogan in Clarksville, states, "in order to settle my late wife's estate", indicating that she had just died prior to the April 1889 filing. The Bogans owned a home and two acres in Detroit. Clara signed mortgage papers as "Clara Mond Bogan". Filings in the Clarksville Courthouse for Red River Co.
It is assumed that Clara and two daughters died around this time. No other evidence points to any other possibility regarding their deaths. Linda Graham states that there are five unreadible/unmarked graves in a roll at the Dean Cemetery in her last reading of the cemetery. We believe these to be, for certain Emma Bogan Curlee's, and theorize the other four are Bogan family members. -- dennis hinkle
