Robert F. Cornwell 50, 1341 Romain road,Anderson died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Community Hospital in Anderson after an extended illness. Born July 6,1933 in Elwood he was the son of Benjamin and Alice Luse Cornwell. He was employed at Delco-Remy in Anderson and served in the United States Army. Survivors include six children; Carilyn Sigler, Ivonda Conner, Alice Derickson, Veronica Cornwell, Monica Cornwell and Farrell Cornwell all of Anderson, four brothers; Neal and Richard Cornwell both of Elwood, Jack Cornwell of Chesterfield and Donald Cornwell of Columbia SC. and eight grandchildren. The body was taken to Copher and Fesler Funeral Home where friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev Joseph Coffin officiating, burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery.
