Barbara S. (Mead) Tice, 69, Marion, was set free to go home to be with her Lord and Savior at 10:38 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Colonial Oaks Health Care Center in Marion. She was born in Elwood, Indiana, on July 9, 1946, to the late Glen and Alice Mead. She married Thomas Leslie Tice, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her half-sister, Joyce (Jake) Gephart, Gas City; best friend and step-sister, Sharon (Jim) Bowland, Converse; half-brother, Glen (Joan) Mead, Jr., Michigan; daughter, Cheryl Kennedy, Tucson, Arizona; sons, David Bowers, Tucson, Arizona, and Albert Bowers, Jr., Arizona; step-sister, Renee Robers, Kokomo; and step-brothers, Dick and Allen Collis, Arizona, and Loren Collis, Colorado.

In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her half-sister, Phoebe; and half-brothers, The Cornwell Boys – Bob, Donie, Jack, Neal, and Richie – all from Elwood.

In accordance with Barbara’s wishes, there will be no services.

Arrangements are entrusted to Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN.
