OBITUARY

Death of Mrs. Luella Braatz

Mrs. Luella Braatz, 58, 907 East Wabasha Street, died at 11:55 a.m. Friday at the Winona General Hospital after a long illness.

The former Luella C Hamann, she was born in Winona on January 23, 1888, and had lived here all her life.

She was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church.

Survivors are seven sons, Harold, Wilmer, Earl, Charles, Clarence, Robert and Franklin, Winona; six daughters, Mrs. Roy (Margaret) Rose, Mrs. Frank (Helen) Kunda, Mrs. Arthur (Dorothy) Klagge, Mrs. Arthur (Florence) Dionysius, and Miss Betty Braatz, Winona, and Mrs. Earl (Marian) Johnson, Rushford; one sister, Mrs. Charles Gielow, Red Wing; one brother, Charles Hamann, Winona, and 16 grandchildren. Her husband and one son have died.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Alfred W. Sauer, officiating.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the church Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. Friends may call at the Fawcett-Hillyer Chapel Sunday after 2 p.m.

Died at Winona General Hospital in Winona, Minnesota of cardio-vascular renal disease at the age of 58.
