Verna Louise Lawrence, 84, of Perryville passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 15, 1936 in Perryville, MO to John Wesley and Norma Lee (Jenkins) Howard.

She and Sylvester "Jim" Lawrence were married May 7, 1955. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2000.

She had worked at Prince Gardener. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, MO.

Survivors include her daughter, Robin L. (Rick) Moll of Perryville, MO; a sister, Loretta (Everett) Masters of Marble Hill, MO; two grandchildren, Skyler Choka, Storm Moll, and one great-grandchild, Colton Choka.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 4 brothers, Leroy, William L., James and Albert Howard; an infant brother; and two sisters, Flossie Hager and Betty Brotherton.

Friends may call at Ford and Young Funeral Home on Friday, March 26 from 7:00 am until time of funeral service at 9:30 am with Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
