Nada Mozelle Haddox Piper, formerly of 406 Staunton St., Piqua, Miami Co., Ohio, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1995 at 10 pm in the Heartland of Piqua Nursing Home. She was 101 years of age.

She was born in Webster City, Hamilton Co., Iowa, the daughter of Jay L. and Hattie Louise Hopkins Haddox.

She was first married to T. J. Peterson of Milwaukee, WI who died in Aug. of 1913 just 2 months after their marriage.

She married John Raymond Piper, son of William L. and Clara A. Piper, on April 21, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1974. Survivors include two sisters Wanda Gwendolin Haddox Crosse of Dayton and Charlotte Katherine Haddox Freet (Mrs. Glen Freet) of Portland, Oregon. Three brothers; Bernard Henry Haddox, Gerald Hopkins Haddox, and Donald Linville Haddox, and two sisters; Harriet Victoria Haddox White and Frances Laverne Haddox Carlson preceded her in death.

Mrs. Piper was graduated from Webster City High School and attended Tobin College. She was a member of the Eastern Star, White Shrine, History Club, YWCA, Fi-Wel-Co Club, American Red Cross and the Salvation Army Auxiliary.
