Reuben John Enns, 88, of Hooker, Oklahoma passed away July 14, 2009 at his home in Hooker.
Reuben was born January 30, 1921 near Hooker, Okla. He was the son of Henry and Katy Balzer Enns.
Survivors include his wife, Billie of the home; three step sons, C.E. Kelley Jr. of Tucson, Arizona, Ray F. Kelley of Grove, Oklahoma and Joe Gustin and his wife Jeannie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four step daughters, Kay Lynn Roseland and her husband Bob of Gilman, Iowa, Lori Branine of Lakin, Kansas, Janet Vail and her husband, David of Hooker, Oklahoma and Marilyn Allen and her husband Steven of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one sister, Esther Ediger of Reedley, California; three sisters in law, Alvina Enns Neighbors of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Liesbeth Enns of Woodinville, Washington, Elfrieda Enns of Liberal, Kansas; twenty four step grandchildren, thirty-three step great grandchildren; three step great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Pat; two step sons, Wilber and Lee Gustin; five brothers, Nick, Henry, Pete, Leonard and Ernest; five sisters, Katie Enns, Martha Enns, Edna Cosby, Linda Schmidt, and Elizabeth Enns.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2009 at the First Christian Church in Hooker with Rev. Brian Jones and Rev. Tim Brittain officiating. Interment will be in the Hooker Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. in Hooker, Oklahoma.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association and may be left at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Inc., Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma 73945.
