Wilma G. Smith was born on Jan. 19, 1923 in Manila, Utah to William G. Potter and Effie Potter Holfeltz. She passed away on July 8, in Vernal Utah.

Wilma was a housewife and wonderful mother. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and served in many church callings. She Loved her family very much and enjoyed being with them. She was married to Frank Alonzo Kendall who passed away in 1947. Their children together were Shela, Sal, and Jody. She later married Willie Smith who passed away in September of 2007. Their children together are Billie Craig, Judy, and Barcee.

She is survived by Shela (Lloyd) Swain of Vernal, Saly (Glen) Larsen of Kaysville, Jody (Dave) Dent of Vernal, Billie Craig (Marie) Smith of Vernal, Judy (Steve) Abplanalp of Vernal, and Betty (Leroy) Kuchler of Vernal.

She is preceded in Death by Frank Alonzo Kendall, Willie Smith, William G. Potter, Effie Poter Holfeltz, and Barcee Lyn Smith.

She is survived by her three sisters and two brothers. Wilma has 21 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Interment at the Rock Point cemetery under the direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
