Ray Spilsbury Tucker, age 67, of Provo, died November 4, 1991 at home.

He was born March 21, 1924, in Colonio Dublan, Mexico to Travers and Della Redd Spilsbury Tucker.

He married LaRue Robison on June 19, 1950, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He graduated from Lincoln High School in Orem.

He was a self-employed real estate broker in Salt Lake City for 40 years.

He helped start Little League baseball in Utah and coached many young men.

He was an All-State tennis player in high school.

He played on many state champion softball teams.

He won the All Church Golf Tournament during the 1960's.

He was an avid BYU fan.

Member, LDS Church.

He was in the High Priest group leadership in Pleasant View 6th Ward.

He had many physical ailments and overcame them to excel in sports.

He is survived by: His wife, Provo; two sons and three daughters, Jan Cluphf, Las Vegas, Nev.; Michael Ray Tucker and wife, Ann, Orem; David Robison Tucker and wife, Jill, Salt Lake City; Mrs. T.J. (Debra T.) Robinson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dr. Bradley (Valerie T.) Melville, Layton; 18 grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters,

Lucile Taylor, Provo; Wayne Tucker and wife, Margo, Salt Lake City; Monroe P. and wife, Betty, Salt Lake City; Allison Schanz, Salt Lake City;

Karl L. Tucker and wife, JoAnne, Orem.

He was preceded in death by a brother, George Tucker.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 8, 1991, at 11 a.m., at the Pleasant View 6th Ward LDS Chapel, 2445 North 650 East, Provo.

Friends may call Thursday evening, 6-8 p.m., at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center and Friday at the church one hour prior to services.
