Orin (Chris) Lynn, 78 of 441 So. State, Orem, Utah, died Sunday, February 6, 1972 at Utah Valley Hospital of a heart condition. He was born November 28, 1894 in Hatch, Utah, the son of Rossmus and Wealtha Hatch Lynn. At age 10 he moved to Lovell, Wyoming and resided there until he moved to Orem four years ago.

He married LaPrele Robertson, May 25, 1928 in Billings, Montana. The marriage later was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Mr. Lynn was a farmer and businessman. He worked as deputy and under-sheriff of Big Horn County, Wyoming. He was a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by his widow of Orem; two daughters, Mrs. Roy E. (Verna Vee) Tew of Orem and Mrs. Robert G. (Arlene) Welch of Witchita Falls, Texas; two brothers, Orvel Lynn of Santa Clara, Utah and Sam Lynn of Lovell, Wyoming; eight grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held in the Lovell Third Ward Chapel on Wednesday, February 9 at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home.
