Ira Wilder Lynn, son of Rosmus and Weltha Mariah Hatch, was born Oct. 12, 1876, at Panguitch, Garfield County, Utah.

On August 8, 1898, he was married to Polly Amanda Allred at Hatch, Utah. Five children were born here: Ira Wilder, who died shortly after birth, Ervin, Ivin, Nellie, who died of diphtheria at age two, and Mary Mariah. He came to the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming in 1906 with his brothers and their families, settling in Lovell....(if you would like a complete Bio. email me at [email protected])...

On July 13, 1955, Ira passed from this life following a stroke he had suffered two weeks earlier. Many lives were blessed by knowing and associating with this noble pioneer who sacrificed and endured hardships in order to provide a better future for his posterity. At the time of his passing he was survived by his wife, Polly, who died five months later, his sons, Ervin, Ivin, Herrold, Henry, and daughter, Mary. He had 21 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
