Pearl Esther Beddes Leithead, 71, died Friday, January 12, 1979 at her home in Cowley of an apparent heart attack. She was born September 5, 1907 in Victor, Idaho, the daughter of Heber and Amanda Jones Beddes. She married John O. Leithead June 7, 1960 in Lovell, Wyoming. They made their home in Lovell until Mr. Leithead died in 1970 then she moved to Cowley where she had resided since. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by one son, Bob Pease of GlenRock, Wyoming; seven brothers, Heber of Fresno, California, Arthur, Vern, James, Frank, and Clinton all of Lovell, and Lynn of Cowley, Wyoming; two sisters, Mrs. LaVaughn Barker of Victor, Idaho and Donna Mary Beddes of Winchester, Tennessee; and two grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Cowley L.D.S. Chapel with Bishop Randall Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
