TRINITY -- Funeral for Thomas "Junior" Hensley, 82, of Moulton will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. E.L. Hardin and the Rev. Keith Murner officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hensley died Thursday, April 11, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Sept. 23, 1919, in Lawrence County, Tenn., to Thomas Abb Hensley Sr. and Carrie Leigh Harris Hensley. He was a retired truck driver. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Moulton Veterans of War Post 6567. He was a member of Union Grove Methodist Church and Mount Zion Masonic Lodge 542.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Bates Hensley; one son, Thomas Clayton Hensley of Moulton; two sisters, Betty Sharp and Louise Hogan, both of Decatur; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Alton Smith, Oswald Owens, Anthony McDaniel, Clayton Hensley, Allen Reed, Reed Adcock, Johnnie Payne and Bobbie White.
Friends of the Five Points community will be honorary pallbearers.
