FRIENDSHIP---Orval M. Tipton, 68, Iron River, Mich., a former resident of Friendship, died Thursday at his home following an apparent stroke.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roseberry's Funeral Home, Friendship, the Rev. Charles Bush officiating, with burial in Mount Repose Cemetery, Friendship.
Mr. Tipton was born Oct. 14, 1908, in Winnebago, Neb. and married Candace Goodbear who died in 1948. He was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include four sons, Clarence, Robert and Orville, Jr. all of Milwaukee; and Raymond, Friendship; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Tucker, Missoula, Mont.; and Mrs. Rosey Saylor, Minneapolis, Kan.; three brothers and three sisters; 21 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 o'clock this afternoon.
