Burial was to be in Roselawn Gardens of Memory.
He is survived by his wife, Callie Hill; and two sisters, Vivian Sowell of Decatur and Earlene Pentecost of Bristol, Tenn.
Pallbearers were to be E.T. Pentecost Jr., James Walter Morris, Michael Morris, Virgil McDonald Jr., Kenneth Ratcliff, Joel Ratcliff, Donnie Cowan and Jerry Cowan.
